What a Week in Bangkok!

Emmanuel is just back from an unforgettable week in Bangkok.

On October 21, he gave the world premiere of Narongrit Dhamabutra’s Harp Concerto “In Memoriam” with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Douglas Bostock at the Thailand Cultural Centre. The concert, “Forever in Our Hearts”, was given in grateful remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great: a deeply moving evening, and an honor to share the stage with such warm and generous musicians.

The rest of the week was just as full: a masterclass with talented young harpists at the Royal Bangkok Symphony Music School, and on October 23, a solo recital at 140 Wireless Road, surrounded by art.

Heartfelt thanks to the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, to Maestro Douglas Bostock, and to Ema Mitarai, whose energy and vision made this whole week possible.
